Issue:

You are looking for a special character to use in an annotation in Revit.

 

Solution:

1.)    You can open the character map manually in Windows by typing in ‘charmap’ in the Windows start line:

           

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.)    You can use the Character Map to double check the Font and if it contains the symbol you are looking for.

3.)    You either copy the symbol and paste it into the application – or use the key strokes in the application while you type: Just type in the number of the key stroke using the key pad on the right hand of the keyboard while having the <ALT>-key pressed. You find the ALT-key to the left or right of the space-bar.

 

 

 

4.)    Have a look on the key-strokes for an overview, refer next page:
