Issue:

Installing Autodesk products gives the error message “The system cannot open the device or file specified. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\...\*.msi

This is a known issue when Trend Micro antivirus is installed

 

Solution:

Just disabling Trend Micro is not sufficient to resolve this issue on an OfficeScan client, you need to follow the solution provided by Trend Micro by clicking here.

There is more detail in the link provided above however the simple answer is to disable MSI checking
